Kate Winslet Praises King Charles in New Documentary
Kate Winslet, the star of Titanic, recently expressed her admiration for King Charles while promoting her upcoming documentary, Finding Harmony: The King’s Vision. In the trailer, she highlights the King’s dedication to environmental issues. “His Majesty has united so many different people, because the only way forward is together,” Winslet remarks.
The documentary showcases King Charles’s efforts, supported by the King’s Foundation, which aims to promote environmental sustainability. The new Prime Video trailer offers glimpses of wildlife and features the King engaging with individuals from various parts of the world.
Christina Mullin CBE, the chief executive of the King’s Foundation, shared her excitement about the film, stating, “We are thrilled that the world can get its first glimpse.” She emphasized the significance of the King’s philosophy of harmony as a guiding principle for the foundation.
Established in 1990, the King’s Foundation focuses on creating sustainable communities and empowering individuals through heritage skills and green projects. According to a press release, the foundation encourages people to view themselves as interconnected with nature and highlights the importance of living in balance with the environment.
This documentary arrives in the wake of King Charles’s own health struggles. He was diagnosed with cancer in February 2024 and has been undergoing treatment. In a heartfelt message during December’s Stand Up to Cancer broadcast, he shared his experience with the disease and expressed the importance of early detection in treatment.
“I know from my own experience that a cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming,” he said. He encouraged individuals to consider screening, emphasizing that it could be a small but crucial step toward ensuring peace of mind or even saving a life.
Elsewhere in the royal family, Duchess Kate has also faced her own battle with cancer. In March 2024, she announced her treatment and has since stayed out of the public eye while undergoing chemotherapy. In September, she shared that she completed her treatment and, in January 2025, revealed she was in remission.
Reflecting on her journey, Kate mentioned, “The last nine months have been incredibly difficult for our family.” However, she added that they look forward to a more hopeful future as they continue to navigate life post-treatment.
Finding Harmony: The King’s Vision is set to premiere on Prime Video on February 6th.
