In a candid post on Instagram, Clark expressed, “It’s tough to share this, but I have to be honest and offer an apology. I was unfaithful to my wife, having an affair and betraying her trust repeatedly.” He emphasized the lack of justification for his actions, acknowledging that he alone is to blame.
Clark conveyed his remorse, stating, “I know words can’t fully capture the damage I’ve inflicted or the pain I’ve caused, but I am genuinely sorry.” He later reflected on the “pain and humiliation” his actions have brought to his wife.
He added, “I realize that my apology can’t fix what I’ve broken. Forgiveness is something I don’t deserve and can’t ask for.” Despite the circumstances, Clark is committed to seeking help to transform himself into a more honest person.
As he concluded his message, he requested privacy for Katie as she navigates this difficult situation.
Notably, his admission of infidelity came shortly after Bates shared her heartbreaking experience of losing a pregnancy. On Friday, she posted an emotional video on Instagram, showing her initial shock at a positive pregnancy test, followed by visibly emotional moments in a hospital setting.
Bates emotionally declared, “I just lost my baby,” as she grappled with the profound loss.
In the video, she shared poignant moments, placing a baby’s outfit beside a teddy bear while breaking the news to Clark.
Katie and Travis married in December 2021. They welcomed their first daughter, Haley James, in February 2023, and their second child, son Harvey Gray, in September 2024.
