Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson Reunite at “Dawson’s Creek” Event

Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson showcased their enduring chemistry during a “Dawson’s Creek” reunion on Monday.

The pair shared affectionate moments while performing a read-through of the series’ first episode at the Richard Rogers Theatre in New York City.

Holmes and Jackson, who portrayed Joey Potter and Pacey Witter, held hands as they joined their fellow cast members for a curtain call.

In various fan-captured videos, they were seen side by side. At one point, Holmes leaned her head on Jackson’s shoulder, a sweet gesture that resonated with the audience.

Holmes looked excited as Jackson took his bow, enthusiastically reaching out for high fives from the cheering crowd. It really brought a nostalgic vibe to the whole event.

Fans commented on social media about the palpable chemistry between them, suggesting it felt like they had never been apart. Remarks about their dynamic captured the sentiment, citing examples of on-screen partnerships that became iconic.

The reunion also had a charitable aspect, as proceeds supported F Cancer, an organization focused on colorectal cancer awareness. James Van Der Beek, who played Dawson Leery on the show, was notably absent due to health issues but expressed frustration over missing the gathering.

Earlier this year, Holmes and Jackson collaborated on a film trilogy titled “Happy Hour” in New York, rekindling their close bond. They briefly dated back in 1998 while filming the series.

Holmes has since navigated various high-profile relationships, including her marriage to Tom Cruise and her roles as a mother to her daughter, Suri.

Jackson, on the other hand, has been focused on co-parenting his daughter with his ex-wife, Jody Turner Smith. He noted that while their friendship is strong, they don’t talk daily, reflecting a realistic, yet supportive connection. It’s nice to see friendships like theirs endure through the years.
