Katie Miller Launches Podcast Aimed at Busy Moms
Katie Miller, the wife of White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, recently shared her thoughts with Fox News Digital about her decision to start a podcast. She mentioned that the podcast primarily targets busy working moms, which seems like a pretty unique angle in today’s media landscape.
“I think it’s time I spoke for myself,” Miller remarked. “While everyone seems to have a podcast these days, this one is focused specifically on conservative women. It’s not just about politics; it’s more about motherhood, healthy eating, careers—all things relevant to my life and the lives of my friends.”
On Thursday, she unveiled the “Katy Miller Podcast,” following her departure from the White House where she served as an adviser to the Office of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Miller emphasized that her podcast aims to delve into topics surrounding lifestyle and the experience of being both a wife and a mother in 2025.
Miller’s background in communication informs her approach. She noted that “doing it yourself is a completely different job” compared to advising others. Her vision includes featuring guests from a variety of backgrounds and sharing an inclusive message. She expressed a hope that her podcast doesn’t limit itself to just conservative or Republican perspectives. In her view, the best conversations reflect diverse viewpoints. She aims to discuss how to juggle family, career, and personal life, and insists that women can indeed handle it all.
Miller’s experience has shown her the reality of balancing work and family life. She mentioned planning episodes with notable figures like former ESPN host Sage Steel and boxing icon Mike Tyson, partly due to her friendships within those realms.
“I know many people face similar challenges,” she added, reflecting on the misconception that others’ lives might always seem perfect. “What I want to highlight is that there’s often much more beneath the surface.” She wants her podcast to be a space for honest discussions about the chaos of motherhood and maintaining a career.
Miller also talked about how she and her husband ensure they spend quality time with their children despite their hectic schedules. “It’s crucial that one of us is home for dinner every night—dinner is at 5:30, and my husband puts the kids to bed.” It seems they are committed to keeping family time a priority amidst their busy lives.
Reflecting on the growing podcast market, she compared it to earlier forms of media like magazines that targeted specific audiences. “Podcasting has become a tailored experience for niche groups,” Miller concluded, highlighting how this new medium can be impactful.
