Bronx drill rapper Kay Flock was found guilty of several federal charges this week in connection with the fatal shootings in 2021, including an attempted murder, but it turns out there is a lot to brag about.
“I hit the top count,” the Kevin Perez-born rapper boasted in an Instagram post. “I made the judge cry. He said he wouldn't force him to give me life now.”
“Never fold it,” he continued.
Perez is scheduled to be sentenced on July 16th.
The rapper and seven of his companions are said to have been behind a series of shootings unfolding in the Bronx between 2020 and 2022, resulting in the murder of 24-year-old Hwascar Hernandez.
Hernandez was shot outside a Harlem barber shop on December 16, 2021.
He was shot in the neck and back after trying to escape from the barber shop.
Perez's defense team claimed the shooting was done in self-defense.
The ju apprentices returned the verdict on Thursday after two days of deliberation.

Perez was convicted of shaking a conspiracy, using a firearm, death, attempted murder, assault with dangerous weapons with the help of assault, using firearms for attempted murder, and assault with dangerous weapons.
The rapper was “a leader of a neighbourhood street gang known as Sev Side/Doa, and along with that gang he committed a series of gang-motivated shootings.” In a statement.
“Drill rapper Perez was a victim who instilled fear throughout the community with his violent actions and then threatened his rivals, bragging about the shooting and aunting with rap lyrics,” Podolsky added. “However, as the unanimous ju umpire has now discovered, Perez can no longer hide behind his music, and instead will be held to explain his violent crimes.
“The efforts of the prosecutors in this office and our law enforcement partners have ended the cycle of violence Perez engaged in,” he continued.
“This office remains determined in its commitment to prosecuting gang members who sowed fear and spread violence in our city streets.”
