Keith Olbermann sparked outrage by saying there was “always a chance” former President Donald Trump would tweet worse than assassinated Abraham Lincoln.

Olbermann appears to have deleted messages from his X account, which has more than 984,000 followers. In response to the backlash, he said his “hope” was that Trump would be treated badly.
“I hope Mr. Trump is right, he has been treated worse than Lincoln. As I have been saying for nine years, he will be convicted and die in prison. ” he wrote.
