Reports are suggesting that Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman have separated after 19 years of marriage. A source mentioned that Nicole’s sister has been a strong support for her, as the entire Kidman family has come together during this difficult time.
It appears that Nicole has been striving to keep the marriage intact. She “didn’t want this,” and has been putting in the effort to salvage their relationship. Since the beginning of summer, they have reportedly been living apart.
At 57 and 58, Urban and Kidman share two daughters, named Sunday and Faith.
Interestingly, Kidman, an Oscar-winning actress, met Urban in Australia back in 2005, and they tied the knot a year later in Sydney. The couple had an unusual rule from the start of their relationship: they opted not to text each other. Instead, they communicated only by phone, something Kidman noted was practical since she didn’t initially know how to text. “We did this from the beginning… We always said we’re going to be vocal,” Kidman explained.
In their relationship, Kidman added that “no secrets” were essential to maintain their bond. Urban had shared in 2023 that family comes first for him, acknowledging that balance in family life can often be tricky but is something they constantly work on.
Before marrying Urban, Kidman was married to Tom Cruise, whom she met on the set of “Days of Thunder.” Their previous marriage resulted in the adoption of two children, Isabella and Connor.
Representatives for Urban and Kidman have yet to respond to requests for comments regarding the split.
