Keith Urban recently shared that Australia, his home country, observes Father’s Day on a different date than the United States. This gives him the opportunity to celebrate Father’s Day twice.

At a recent concert in Nashville, Urban almost faced an awkward moment with a fan. A video shared on TikTok shows him chatting with an audience member named Nicole during his “High and Alive” tour on October 17. When he asked her if she liked her name, she replied, “I’m Nicole,” which prompted laughter from the crowd. Urban humorously fell back on the stage for a moment before playing it off, asking, “Did you say Nicole Richie?” This was, of course, a nod to Nicole Kidman, adding a light-hearted twist.

About a day prior, Urban had canceled a show in South Carolina due to a minor illness, as confirmed by the venue’s website. He had been advised by his laryngologist to rest his voice. The cancellation came as a disappointment, but Urban was back on stage in Nashville, energetic and playful.

Later in the concert, he helped another fan announce her pregnancy, having traveled from South Carolina after her concert was canceled. This joyful moment was highlighted when a fan stood next to Urban wearing a onesie that read, “The Smallest Keith Urban Fan.”

This fan interaction happened shortly after urban’s wife, Nicole Kidman, filed for divorce on September 30, citing “irreconcilable differences.” The couple first met in 2005 and married in 2006, welcoming two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. Their last public appearance together was at a FIFA match in Nashville earlier this year.

Kidman had hinted at her feelings regarding their relationship in a Vogue magazine interview, expressing uncertainty about life’s direction. Urban seems to be managing well despite the recent challenges, bringing humor to his performances and interactions with fans.
