Keith Urban unintentionally transformed Alana Springsteen’s life years prior to their tour collaboration.

Alana Springsteen is getting ready to tour with Keith Urban. She expressed her admiration for him, recalling how his music influenced her as a child. “I think he taught me how to play guitar when I was nine,” she said, noting how she used to mimic his records.

The 24-year-old first met Urban at a show in Nashville and then again at Summerfest. “Keith came over and asked me to sing along to ‘We Were Us.’ That was a special moment for me,” she reflected. “I really hope I did Miranda Lambert proud. It’s such an iconic song.”

Springsteen expressed her excitement about touring with Urban, saying she can’t wait to learn from him and have that shared experience. The tour, part of Urban’s High and Alive World Tour, is set to kick off soon.

She also mentioned that she wrote her first song at nine, back when she started getting into country music. “It was called ‘Fairy Tale.’ Even though I knew nothing about love, I was captivated by it,” she shared. “Writing that song became an important outlet for me.”

Her debut album, “Twenty Something,” received a warm reception upon its release in 2023. Springsteen acknowledged how personal the album was for her, aiming to share genuine stories with her fans. “It was just the beginning for me,” she added, describing newfound confidence from working on it.

However, she also faced challenges along the way. “Not everyone around me really supported me,” she noted. Reflecting on her new work, she said that writing has served as a form of therapy, helping her reach deeper levels of vulnerability she hadn’t explored before.

Performing at the Stage Coach festival marked a significant moment for her, something she had long dreamed of. “It’s such an iconic place, and being there in the desert atmosphere was incredible,” she said, recounting the rehearsals and excitement surrounding her new songs.
