Kelly Wolf, the estranged wife of actor Scott Wolf, recently claimed she experienced “police brutality” while being held under a hospital order she described as “unwilling.”
In an Instagram story, she stated, “I was held for seven days and they tried to keep me for 90. I can’t stay silent anymore.” She shared a photo showcasing an injury on her arm.
She further explained, “This injury is from the police. I’m trying to stay safe, but I need help. I’ve fallen down the stairs and broken my wrist. They just placed me on a hold for behavioral health without my consent.” Kelly recounted her experience, stating that Summit County Police removed her from Sundance on July 6 while she was in a hot tub, insisting that “the truth must be told.”
In a second post, she expressed her love for her children—Jackson (16), Miller (12), and Lucy (11)—and pleaded for help, adding, “I’m not crazy. I need assistance and want to get my children back. That’s what matters most to me right now.”
Meanwhile, just two weeks prior, Scott Wolf was granted sole physical and legal custody of their three kids and was also issued restraining orders against Kelly. He alleged that her behavior represents a serious threat to the well-being of their children.
Kelly’s recent remarks follow her announcement last month regarding her divorce from Scott after 21 years of marriage. She reflected on the separation, saying it had been a long, quiet journey rooted in care for their children, and that she was at peace knowing she approached the process with integrity and compassion.
Despite her criticism of the current situation, Kelly referred to Scott as “one of the best fathers” and acknowledged him as a supportive partner during their time together. However, her situation escalated when she was hospitalized shortly after these comments, reportedly due to concerns raised by her family.
