Kelly Clarkson’s Special Guest at Las Vegas Show
During her show at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on July 11th, Kelly Clarkson welcomed a very special guest: her 11-year-old daughter, River Rose. This appearance was part of her residency at the Colosseum, which had just kicked off after a brief delay.
Clarkson shared a heartfelt moment with her daughter on Instagram, posting a picture of them together on stage. In her caption, she wrote, “Last night we had a very special guest, my daughter, River Rose. #StudioSessions #kellyinvegas.” The image captured Clarkson kneeling beside her daughter, highlighting their bond.
Fans were clearly moved by the mother-daughter duet, with one commenting how amazing it was to see them on stage together. It’s clear that the connection they share resonates with many. In fact, a clip showed them joyfully singing Clarkson’s hit “Heartbeat Song,” with River visibly enthusiastic.
Interestingly, prior to this, Clarkson had postponed the start of her residency that was initially set for July 4th due to vocal strain. She informed her fans about needing to take care of her voice, emphasizing her desire to deliver a great performance.
During her opening night, Clarkson expressed gratitude to her audience for their understanding regarding the postponement. She candidly shared her frustration about the circumstances, mentioning how illness can sometimes be unavoidable. “We can’t help our bodies sometimes if we get sick,” she said, reflecting on her experience.
In a lighter moment later in the night, she humorously announced that she had taken a shot of tequila as a way to celebrate being back on stage after the setback, admitting she had been very sick just days before.
While River Rose isn’t the only one in the family with a flair for performance—her son, Remington, surprised audiences last year by singing Frank Sinatra’s “My Way” during a taping of “The Kelly Clarkson Show.” Clarkson remarked on her son’s confidence during that performance, stating, “He went in and was like, ‘Where do you sing my song?’”
Ultimately, Clarkson maintains a close relationship with her children, sharing her journey as a performer and a parent with her fans, illustrating just how intertwined her family life is with her career.
