Kelly Clarkson Reveals New Bob Haircut
Kelly Clarkson has bid farewell to her long hair. The singer, known for hits like “Since U Been Gone,” showcased a new choppy bob in a promo for “The Voice.”
In the promotional video for season 29, Clarkson sports a short, wavy hairstyle with side parts, marking a significant change from her previous long locks that grazed her hips.
She paired her new shoulder-length hair with bright red lipstick and an androgynous outfit of a button-up shirt and trousers.
It’s unclear whether this new look is here to stay or if it’s just a temporary style change, as she was recently spotted with much longer hair during her Las Vegas residency earlier this month.
“This time there are a few tricks up my sleeve,” she mentioned in the promotional clip. “Yeah, I’m ready.”
Clarkson was a coach for the 23rd season of the show, which premiered in spring 2023. However, after her divorce from Brandon Blackstock, she made the decision to leave the show and relocate to New York City with her two children.
The singer is set to continue filming her daytime talk shows, “The Kelly Clarkson Show” and “The Voice.”
Fans are buzzing about her return next season. One exclaimed, “Has Kelly come back? I’m all in!” Another chimed in, “Kelly is back… Now we’re definitely tuning in!”
This upcoming season of “The Voice” will also feature returning coaches Adam Levine and John Legend, introducing a new format called “The Voice: Battle of Champions.” Season 28 is set to debut this fall, with coaches Michael Bublé, Snoop Dogg, Niall Horan, and Reba McEntire joining the lineup.
