Kelly Osbourne Responds to Criticism Over Weight Loss
Kelly Osbourne showed off her striking new blonde hairstyle as she responded to critics discussing her recent weight loss.
The former “Fashion Police” host attended Juliette Shear’s bakeware collection launch in London on Tuesday, drawing inspiration from Marilyn Monroe with her chin-length hair styled in soft, voluminous waves.
She enhanced her look with a vibrant rosy lip color and a subtle smoky eye, looking chic in a charcoal gray button-up and matching pants.
Osbourne complemented her outfit with black heels, a black bracelet, a gold necklace, and drop earrings. She seemed to be in high spirits during the event, posing for photos alongside the Honorable Lady Sears.
This year, Osbourne has mentioned that Monroe was her inspiration for similar hairstyles. Last year, she dyed her hair blonde, but she didn’t debut the shorter style until January. In May, she flaunted her wavy hair on Instagram, expressing her admiration for Monroe.
In her selfies, she embraced her figure and captioned one post with, “I love a little Marilyn look to start this Saturday!!!!!”
Throughout the years, Osbourne has sported various hair colors, including lavender and bubblegum pink. Recently, she faced scrutiny over her weight loss, particularly after the passing of her father, Ozzy Osbourne.
In an Instagram video, she addressed unkind comments, stating, “To those who think they’re being funny and mean with comments like, ‘Are you sick?’ or ‘Please get off Ozempic,’ just stop.” She then added, “My father just passed away. I’m doing the best I can. All I have to live for right now is my family.”
Osbourne emphasized her intention to share the positive aspects of her life rather than the negative, urging critics to refrain from their hurtful remarks. The legendary Black Sabbath frontman passed away in July at the age of 76.
