Grammer Praises Trump as One of America’s Greats

Kelsey Grammer recently expressed his belief that Donald Trump is “one of the greatest presidents we’ve ever had.”

On Saturday, Trump awarded medals to the 2025 Kennedy Center honorees during a ceremony in the Oval Office. Following this event, the State Department hosted a dinner to celebrate the recipients.

This year’s distinguished honorees include Sylvester Stallone, Gloria Gaynor, George Strait, Michael Crawford, and members of the iconic band KISS.

During an interview with Fox News Digital before the dinner, Grammer, who attended with his daughter Faith, described Trump as an “extraordinary person.” He stated, “He still has some things he wants to accomplish, which I think is great, but he’s got a big mountain to climb.”

“I think he’s an extraordinary person. He’s one of the greatest presidents we’ve ever had. Probably the greatest president.”

Grammer noted that there are still “very interesting things left to happen” under Trump’s leadership.

He also mentioned his delight at Stallone being honored this year, saying he was “so happy.” Grammer, who served on the selection committee, remarked on Stallone’s lasting impact, noting, “He is a force of nature.”

Grammer felt it was “about time” for Stallone to receive such recognition.

On the red carpet, George Strait conveyed his gratitude, saying it was a “tremendous honor” to be part of the Kennedy Center Honors.

Trump, speaking at the ceremony, referred to the honorees as “amazing people” who embody “the best of American arts and culture.” He expressed his admiration, declaring, “This is perhaps the most accomplished and distinguished class of Kennedy Center honorees ever assembled.”

During the event, Trump presented each winner with a newly designed medal, crafted by Tiffany & Co. This updated medallion features a gold disc with the Kennedy Center logo, adorned with rainbow colors on one side. The reverse side includes the honoree’s name and the date of the event.

The ribbon attached to the medallion has also been redesigned, replacing the old style that had been in use since 1978.
