Kelsey Plum abruptly pulls out of Unrivaled League

Kelsey Plumb is making a call about joining the new Unrivaled League.

The Las Vegas ace star was drafted by the Rays on Oct. 20 and announced a week later that she would not play in the 3×3 league founded by the Liberty's Brianna Stewart and the Lynx's Napheesa Collier.

“I have decided not to participate in the first season of Unrivaled in order to take some more time for myself this offseason,” Plumb wrote in a social media post Wednesday. “I appreciate the league's understanding and kindness.
