The Jenner family has reportedly indicated that Kendall and Kylie Jenner opted out of attending the wedding of Tia Blanco’s brother, Brody Jenner.
This situation seems to stem from a complicated relationship between Brody’s mother, Linda Thompson, and Kris Jenner, the mother of Kendall and Kylie. According to sources cited by The US Sun on Tuesday, this family tension has affected their children as well.
It appears that Kendall and Kylie could have easily attended Brody’s wedding at Thompson’s Malibu home over the weekend. However, insiders suggest that the sisters simply didn’t feel it was a priority.
There’s an ongoing “bad blood” dynamic between Linda Thompson and Kris Jenner, which has impacted Brody’s relationship with his half-sisters. Reports suggest that Brody has a bit of a complicated history, often criticizing Kris when trying to connect with his own brothers.
Apparently, Brody isn’t fond of the Kardashian family, which adds layers to the family drama.
During their attempts to bond, Brody frequently referenced complaints about Kris, indicating some deep-seated feelings. On the other hand, Kendall seemed to try to connect with her father’s side of the family, while Kylie reportedly is more aligned with the Kardashian clan.
Sources noted that Kylie feels somewhat out of place in the Jenner family dynamics. She even suggested that she shares more common ground with the Kardashians.
Interestingly, as per sources reported by TMZ, Kendall and Kylie thought that their attendance might attract attention away from Brody and his bride, Tia Blanco.

On Monday, TMZ reiterated that Kendall and Kylie’s absence was rooted in the belief that they might overshadow the newlyweds.
Despite the family complexities, it was stated that Brody and his half-sisters harbor mutual affection for each other.
Notably, the wedding, held at Thompson’s residence, had between 60 and 70 guests. Caitlyn Jenner attended, just two weeks after experiencing a tragic loss with the passing of her longtime friend and manager, Sophia Hutchins, in an ATV accident.
Caitlyn, who is 75, shares Brody, 41, and Brandon Jenner, 44, with Thompson and also has two children from a previous marriage. Kendall, 29, and Kylie, 27, are from Caitlyn’s marriage to Kris.
