Kendra Wilkinson Reflects on Playboy Mansion Regrets

Kendra Wilkinson recently opened up about her time at the Playboy Mansion during a conversation with Fox News Digital. At 39, she shared that, looking back, she wishes she had launched her real estate career while still living there as part of Hugh Hefner’s entourage between 2004 and 2009.

She remarked, “The only thing I regret is not starting my real estate career sooner,” adding a hint of disbelief at the opportunities she had surrounded by celebrities and wealth. “What was I thinking?” However, she feels settled now in her current journey.

Real Estate Journey

After passing the California real estate exam in June 2020, Wilkinson quickly snagged a position with The Agency, a luxury real estate firm. Later, she made a move to Douglas Elliman, where she began her reality show “Kendra Selling Hollywood,” showcasing her experiences in the competitive Los Angeles real estate market.

In May 2023, she announced on Instagram that she was stepping back from real estate. But later clarified, “I just had a really bad day,” asserting she didn’t really quit and now has multiple deals in progress.

“I want to publicly hate real estate again, but I love it so I can’t,” she confessed, acknowledging the complexities of her feelings about the job.

Focus on Mental Health

Wilkinson initially stepped back to prioritize her mental health and her two children, Hank IV and Aliya. After being hospitalized in September 2023 due to a panic attack, she shared her struggles with mental health, explaining how overwhelming it felt at times.

She recalled, “I was almost dying of depression,” as she dealt with unresolved trauma. This led to her seeking help from professionals, which she credits with her progress.

In her words, “My health and happiness are a blessing,” thanking her medical team that helped her through those difficult times.

Advocating for Operation Smile

Wilkinson expressed her commitment to Operation Smile while attending their event in June. “The smiles of operations are an incredible cause,” she stated, identifying the significant impact such efforts have on improving lives globally.

Her involvement reflects not just a personal journey but a commitment to making a difference in the world, balancing roles between a public figure, a mother, and someone who actively participates in charitable causes.
