Expect Stetsons on the Strip.
Sphere in Las Vegas just announced that Kenny Chesney will be the first country act to headline the visually spectacular venue.
“I'm always looking for ways to further deepen the way No Shoes Nation experiences this music,” Chesney said in a statement. “…just the idea of 4D technology and incredibly tuned sound enhances the No Shoes Nation experience and literally allows you to be immersed and present with the music, visuals and sound. For me, this is I think it's going to be a whole new way to shake up the fans, so I can't wait.”
As of now, the 12-time Country Music Award winner has scheduled 12 shows in Sin City from May 22nd to June 13th. Additional dates may be added depending on residency demand.
So far, nearly every artist who has performed at the Sphere has extended their dates, including U2, Dead and Co., The Eagles, and Anyma. Phish was the only holdout and kept his promise of four shows.
It's not yet clear what Chesney has planned for his upcoming spring 2025 residency, but he's been in the planning stages for months.
“This is actually something we've been working on since May of last year,” he said on the Today Show.
If you want to see the 56-year-old country icon live in a whole new way, you can buy tickets to all upcoming Kenny Chesney Sphere shows on sites like Vivid Seats. The official release date is Friday, January 31st.

Kenny Chesney new song
On March 22, 2024, Chesney released his 20th studio album, Born.
This 15-track album ranges from crowd-pleasing sing-alongs to guitar-heavy jams and heartfelt ballads. Essentially, “Born” creates a great concert experience filled with peaks of energy and valleys of emotion.
Standout songs include the soothing “Born,” the straightforward rocker “One More Sunset,” and the meditative “Thinkin' Bout.”
But the most fun might be the anthemic “Long Gone.” The song steadily builds to an energetic crescendo that will have you on your feet and pumping your fists. It's a lot of fun and a great way to get home after the show.
