Kentucky Teacher Indicted on Serious Charges

A teacher from Kentucky, Sidney Graff, has been indicted after allegedly sending sexually explicit messages to a fifth-grade student. Reports indicate she even expressed a desire to engage in inappropriate behavior, stating, “I wanted to taste that dick.”

Graff, who teaches math at Smyrna Elementary School in Louisville, now faces multiple charges, including first-degree rape and sodomy of a child under 12. Additionally, she has been charged with unlawful transaction with a minor and possession of a controlled substance, following an indictment issued on Tuesday.

Initially arrested on December 15, Graff had been charged after being found driving to pick up the boy from his home during a virtual learning day. This situation came to light after the school district became aware of inappropriate communications during remote instruction.

While the latest charges do not elaborate on the nature of her relationship with the student, court documents reveal that disturbing messages were sent, which included discussions around sexual acts. Police reported that she even had plans to meet the child after school to carry out these acts.

One particularly alarming message reportedly contained a phrase like “I really want to taste that, Father.” Captured exchanges showed her name and face, making the alarming behavior quite evident.

Post-arrest, Graff purportedly acknowledged sending these messages. During the investigation, she was reassigned to a non-student role within the school.

Authorities also discovered hydrocodone and Adderall in her vehicle, raising further concerns. In a court appearance on Wednesday, she pleaded not guilty. Furthermore, she has been restricted from interacting with minors unless under supervision and is set to appear in court again on Monday.
