Kenzie Ziegler’s Unique Promotion for New Song
Kenzie Ziegler has certainly made a splash with her latest promotional tactic for her new song, “Tan Lines.” The 21-year-old singer, who gained fame as a “Dance Moms” star, surprised her TikTok followers by showcasing a tan line that looked like a tattoo.
On Thursday, she shared a fun video montage that captured a day spent in the sun, wearing a bikini top while flaunting what appeared to be tattoos on her chest and collarbone. This creative approach came right in time for the release of her song.
The footage began with Ziegler in a black tube top, prepping for the tattoo effect. Using tape, she created realistic strap marks for Los Angeles-based artist Christian Delacruz, who helped mimic the look of a tattoo.
Throughout the video, Ziegler smiled at both the camera and her reflection, adjusting her bikini top to ensure everything looked just right.
As the clip progressed, viewers saw Ziegler lying on a table while Delacruz worked with a real tattoo gun. She later revealed the finished product with a sense of pride.
However, the online reactions were mixed, with many fans expressing disbelief. Comments ranged from shock to confusion, with one user pleading, “Are you kidding me?” and another asking if it was permanent.
Some commenters seemed convinced it was a playful trick, while others speculated that the “ink” might simply be temporary. Interestingly, influencer Anastan Skovsky had shared a similar trend just a month earlier, which also gained traction online.
As of now, Ziegler and Delacruz’s representatives have not commented on the viral sensation.
