Kesha says she ‘didn’t know’ prop knife was replaced by ‘real butcher knife’ during Lollapalooza performance

Kesha is known for going all out for her fans, but this time it seems she had no idea what she was getting into.

During her performance at Lollapalooza 2024 on Thursday, 37-year-old singer Kesha dominated the stage as she performed some of her biggest hits. Wearing a blood-stained tank top and miniskirt, Kesha took her act to the next level by running around with a knife and making constant stabbing movements during her performance of “Backstabber.”

But there’s one problem: The “TiK ToK” singer claims he didn’t know he was performing with a “real meat cleaver.”

“Apparently the prop knife went missing and was replaced with a real butcher knife that was stolen from the kitchen. I didn’t know about it until now,” she said. Post to X (Old Twitter) After the show. “Watch it again.”

“What the heck? So unprofessional,” one fan commented.

“If they decided to improvise??? They should have their team investigate and someone should be held accountable. That’s really bad,” another user wrote.

A representative for Kesha did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

Kesha isn’t the only star who has pushed the boundaries with dangerous props.

“I know I scared you all with my last post but this is a fake knife that my team borrowed from a hand prop shop in LA,” she explained. “It’s not a real knife so no need to worry or call the police. I’m trying to imitate one of my favorite performers Shakira…I was inspired by her performance!!! Cheers to us bad girls who are not afraid to push the limits and take risks.”
