Kevin Costner is getting older and wiser.
Costner celebrated his 69th birthday on Thursday with a throwback photo of himself. A young Costner wore a cowboy hat and smiled in a sepia-toned photograph.
“Today we celebrate another year and honor this young boy with big dreams,” Costner said. Added a caption to an old photo. “I can’t believe how far we’ve come.”
“Thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes,” he added. “It is because of your support that I have been able to pursue my dreams for many years.”

Last year, Costner shared some advice with fans while celebrating his birthday.
“Don't believe what they say about getting older,” the “Yellowstone” star captioned the post at the time. “With each passing year comes a gift, and it only gets better with time.”
The Field of Dreams star is focused on his future after spending much of 2023 in a legal battle with his estranged wife Christine Baumgartner. The wallet designer filed for divorce in May, and in late August the couple fought for weeks over custody of their child.

On September 1, a judge ruled in Costner's favor, and Costner exclusively told Fox News Digital that he feels there are “no winners” in the custody battle.
“You know, when you spend this long of your life with someone, there are no winners…and it's this big, crazy thing called life and how it can fall apart so quickly.” he said. “One moment you feel like you're on top of the world, and then you realize how vulnerable you are.”
Throughout the courtroom drama, Costner remained focused on his latest project, Horizon: An American Saga.

The western series is tentatively scheduled to be released in two parts in 2024.

According to a report from Variety, Horizon: An American Saga is scheduled to be released on June 28, 2024, with the second installment in the series set to be released on August 16. Mr. Costner has been working on a passion project for his 35 years.
