Games respect games.
Baseball friends were quick to take to social media to praise Sabrina Ionescu for her game-winning 3-pointer from the logo on Wednesday night, bringing the Liberty team one win away from its first WNBA title.
Everyone from Kevin Durant to Tamika Catchings praised Ionescu's clutch shot in Game 3 against the Lynx.

Ionescu held the ball at the half-court line before starting the attack, and with 3.4 seconds left and the game tied at 77, she lofted an 8-foot shot that fell and put Liberty at 80. He helped lead the team to that point. 77 wins.
“I didn't remember it at all.” Coach Ionescu told reporters after the game:. “I had to go watch the video to see how far I was. But when the timeout came, Sandy was like, 'I'm going to take this shot.' I was able to get some distance within range and was able to get the shot off. ”
Ionescu had 13 points on 5-of-12 shooting and six assists in the game, helping Liberty come back from a 15-game deficit to take a 2-1 series lead in the best-of-5 final.
The Liberty star described the shot as “definitely the biggest shot of my career.”
“In the offseason, the day before a game, when I'm practicing, I put myself in those situations and imagine a lot. That was a big growth for me.” Added by Ionescu.
Ironically, this clutch performance came on the same day the WNBA announced its All-WNBA First Team members, but Ionescu was not included.
She was named to the All-WNBA second team, something she teased after the game.
“It was just a great performance for the All-WNBA Second Team,” Ionsecu said.
