Kevin Federline has expressed concerns that his ex-wife, Britney Spears, is on a troubling path due to her unpredictable behavior.
In his upcoming memoir, You Thought You Knew, he notes, “It feels like we’re heading towards something irreversible.” Federline, who shares two sons, Sean Preston and Jaden James, ages 20 and 19 respectively, acknowledges it’s hard to pretend that everything is fine.
“From my perspective, time is running out,” he adds, expressing his fears about the wellbeing of their sons. He recalled a moment when the boys hesitated to return to their mother, revealing their fright regarding her actions.
Federline described unsettling experiences, like finding Spears standing silently in the doorway with a knife, only to vanish without a word.
He emphasized that he has never opposed Britney but seeks a productive co-parenting relationship. Reflecting on their past, he lamented that his children don’t know the woman he married, noting that he’s spent years trying to bridge that gap.
The couple married in September 2004 but divorced after three years, navigating a lengthy custody dispute complicated by Spears’ controversial conservatorship. Now, he lives in Hawaii with his sons and new wife, Victoria Prince.
Recently, it has been reported that Spears is declining help as worries grow about her mental health and living conditions. Friends have voiced concerns about her reportedly unkempt home, filled with dog mess.
A source stated, “She doesn’t clean up after the dog and doesn’t have anyone to help her out.” In contrast, another source mentioned that Spears is focusing on healing relationships with her children.
Federline’s memoir is set to be released on October 21st.
