Kevin Hart Critiques His New Wax Figure
Kevin Hart is not thrilled about his latest wax representation. “Oh my god… what have I done to these people?” the comedian expressed on Instagram last Saturday, sharing a video of the wax figure decked out in a gold chain and leather jacket, arms outstretched. The clip, themed around “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” humorously questions, “I know that’s not Kevin Hart.”
“This is an attack… Who the hell is this???” he added, lamenting, “At this point, these museums are just trying to make me cry.” Hart even included a sad emoji accompanied by four laughing emojis.
He went on, “This has to stop… do it again, dammit!” The wax figure quickly gained traction online, sparking debates among fans about its true resemblance.
“That’s Devin Hart!” one commenter posted. “You asked for Kevin Hart and you got Kevin the Weeknd,” another suggested.
A fellow comedian quipped, “I thought that was me,” while others chimed in with playful remarks. “They ordered a wax figure of Tim,” one said, as another backtracked with, “They gave him a Jim Carrey makeover.” There was also a cheeky suggestion of “Kevin Hardley,” and one fan noted the statue looked like what Hart’s youngest child, Kenzo, would resemble when he’s older.
In the midst of the chatter, Hart’s “Jumanji” co-star Dwayne Johnson seemed to poke fun at him, declaring the statue “perfect.” Johnson responded to Hart’s original post sarcastically, saying, “Perfect. No need to change anything.”
Hart also recently shared a video where he jokingly expressed frustration about their intense work schedule while filming the new “Jumanji,” highlighting the challenges they face during mealtime.
The wax figure was unveiled last week at the Hollywood Wax Museum in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
