At LIV Golf’s Adelaide event in Australia on Sunday, Kevin Na’s final round went horribly wrong, costing his team victory.
Na was cruising throughout the round.
After starting with bogey, he birdied six of the next 16 holes, including four straight birdies going into his final attempt on the ninth hole.
There, the 40-year-old Na had to deal with a sandy lie after mistaking his tee shot.
Things quickly deteriorated.
The first attempt didn’t free her from the terrible lie, and Na hit the bag in frustration.
The second time it crashed into a tree branch, leaving it in an awkward position and causing an epic meltdown.
“Seriously, this is shit,” Na can be heard saying in the video.
Na was on his way to double bogey while shooting a 69, and was told by his caddy to “take a deep breath” before finally hitting the ball back into the fairway.
This entire scene garnered reactions from fans.
Na, who joined LIV in June 2022, finished tied for 34th in the individual event won by Brendan Steele.
But it was an even more heartbreaking defeat for his Ironheads team as they went into the round down just one stroke looking for their first tour win.
They ultimately finished in 6th place.
