Kevin O’Leary disagrees with CNN panel after referring to Kamala Harris as a ‘loser’

Kevin O’Leary, known from “Shark Tank,” stirred up a heated debate on CNN by labeling former Vice President Kamala Harris a “loser.” His comments sparked intense reactions from the panel, where discussions meandered toward the implications for Democrats if they didn’t hold a primary after, presumably, losing the 2024 presidential election.

During the exchange, O’Leary criticized the democratic process, suggesting that Harris’s selection was flawed. “They didn’t run the process. They chose the loser, and she was slaughtered because she didn’t run the process,” he remarked.

CNN contributors Bakari Sellers and Karen Finney quickly defended Harris, expressing their dissatisfaction with O’Leary’s choice of words. “First of all, let’s ensure we maintain respect for Kamala Harris,” Sellers asserted, while Finney added that it lacked dignity to refer to her in such a manner.

CNN political commentator Scott Jennings redirected the conversation back to Biden, noting that post-dropout, he largely faded from the public eye. “When he left the race, he disappeared,” Jennings pointed out. This led to inquiries about Biden’s fitness for office and decisions made during his absence.

Sellers supported Jennings’ points but defended Harris against the “loser” label, stating, “There’s nothing about Kamala Harris, the loser. Let’s put a pin in that.”

O’Leary continued to assert that Harris indeed faced a harsh defeat and was “slaughtered” in the election. This was met with further pushback from Finney, who deemed his comments disrespectful.

In response to the debate, CNN host Abby Phillip sought clarification, emphasizing that Harris was legitimately elected alongside Biden in 2020.

O’Leary remarked that it’s challenging to state the truth when he believes Harris struggles to articulate her thoughts effectively.
