Shark Tank investor Kevin O’Leary predicted that immigration would be the “biggest issue” in the upcoming election for both Republicans and Democrats.
“This is the biggest bipartisan issue right now,” O’Leary said Tuesday on “Jesse Waters Prime Time.”

The investor argued that now “we don’t just have a problem in New York, we have a problem in Chicago, we have a problem in many cities.” He said that now, just months after this fall’s general election, people are “recognizing the impact of this unresolved 2016 issue” as it affects “their own jurisdictions.” “I am doing so,” he said.
“So I predict this will probably be number one.” [issue], and maintain that status as both sides turn this into a major battle. But now it hit home,” he said.
O’Leary argued that with immigration being an important issue for New York state, “it’s going to be a very interesting outcome in terms of the general election.”
His comments came after the Senate failed to pass a bipartisan border agreement. President Biden recently urged a group of governors to pressure their respective lawmakers to pass the security bill, saying it would help states in need of temporary workers or dealing with an influx of workers. He encouraged them to apply
O’Leary, chairman of O’Leary Ventures, also recently cited former President Trump’s $355 million corporate fraud verdict in New York, saying he would no longer invest in New York, a “loser” after the verdict.
