Kevin Spacey Calls for Release of Epstein Records
Kevin Spacey took to social media on Tuesday to demand the release of all records related to Jeffrey Epstein. This announcement occurred shortly after the Trump administration officially declared Epstein’s death in 2019 a suicide. Spacey mentioned that the list of clients associated with Epstein hasn’t been disclosed yet.
“We’re releasing the Epstein files. All of them,” Spacey tweeted to his 3.6 million followers. “For those of us who have nothing to fear, the truth cannot come anytime soon. I hate making this about myself, but the media already has it.” It seems like he’s trying to push for transparency while also reflecting on his own situation.
In January 2024, over 150 names connected to Epstein were unveiled during a legal case involving Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year sentence for facilitating Epstein’s exploitation of underage girls.
Spacey, now 65, faced criminal charges in the UK in 2022 for allegedly assaulting three men dating back to 2005. Interestingly, he was found not liable in a civil lawsuit by actor Anthony Rapp, who claimed that Spacey made unwanted advances when Rapp was just 14 years old, while Spacey was 27.
After being dismissed from the Netflix series *House of Cards* in 2017, Spacey has gradually returned to acting, featuring in independent films and stage work.
