Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has voiced support for the student protesters in the United States.
“I am writing this letter to the young people whose awakened conscience has driven them to defend the oppressed women and children of Gaza. Dear American college students, this message is an expression of sympathy and solidarity with you. As the page of history turns, you are on the right side,” the Iranian said in the letter. english.khamenei.ir“You have now formed chapters of the Resistance Front and begun an honorable struggle in the face of ruthless pressure from a government that has usurped power and openly supported the brutal Zionist regime.”

“The global Zionist elite, who own most of the US and European media companies and wield influence through funding and bribery, have labelled this courageous and humane resistance movement as ‘terrorism,'” he asserted. “The repressive leaders of global hegemony ruthlessly distort even the most basic concepts of humanity. They portray the ruthless and terroristic Israeli regime as acting in self-defence, while portraying the Palestinian resistance movement defending freedom, security and self-determination as terrorists!”
At the end of his message, Khamenei advised the students to become familiar with the Quran.
