Khanna states it is clear Biden was unfit to seek reelection.

Representative Ro Khanna, a Democrat from California, recently expressed concerns about President Joe Biden’s fitness for re-election, suggesting he was “not in the condition to run” based on various observations. Khanna emphasized that rebuilding trust among Democrats requires honesty about Biden’s candidacy. He stated that Biden should not have pursued re-election given the emerging facts.

Reflecting on his interactions, Khanna mentioned, “he seemed consistent,” but acknowledged that it’s now evident he’s not in the right state to continue his campaign. He suggested that the decision to run was not the best choice.

Khanna noted that there’s “no doubt” Biden’s cognitive abilities have declined during his presidency. In a recent appearance on Fox News’s “The Story,” he called for Democrats to recognize their past mistakes and encourage Biden not to seek another term.

Martha MacCallum, the host, challenged Khanna by showing clips of his previous comments, where he had described Biden as “completely consistent.” In response, Khanna admitted that while he previously believed that, he now feels he might not have the complete picture.

Attempts by Fox News Digital to reach out to Joe and Jill Biden’s offices yielded no response at the time of publication.

Additionally, during a recent appearance on “The View,” Biden rejected claims of significant cognitive decline during his presidency, defending his mental acuity from accusations of a health cover-up.
