Khloe Kardashian Supports Tristan Thompson’s Brother at Dance Recital
Khloe Kardashian recently showed up for a dance recital featuring Amari, the younger brother of her ex-boyfriend, Tristan Thompson.
On Saturday, she took to Instagram Stories to share several heartfelt clips from the event, capturing the moment when 18-year-old Amari danced to the 1979 song “I Have a Dream” by ABBA.
Amari, who has Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, a type of epilepsy, lit up the stage, and Khloe noted how “very happy” he appeared during his performance.
“Thank you for these blessings,” she wrote alongside one video.
In another snippet, Amari and his dance group grooved to ABBA’s 1977 hit “Take A Chance on Me.” Khloe also shared a photo from the recital program, highlighting Amari’s name and expressing her pride in him.
Later, she posted a behind-the-scenes shot of herself with her teens, showing a sense of togetherness.
“I’m very proud of this young man,” Khloe added in the caption of a selfie.
The trio also took a moment to pose with Kris Jenner, Khloe’s mother. In a heartfelt message, she expressed her love for everyone involved and appreciation for the support they provide one another.
It’s unclear whether Tristan was in attendance at the recital.
After the passing of his mother, Andrea, in January 2023, Tristan became Amari’s legal guardian.
Even though Khloe and Tristan ended their romantic relationship in 2021 due to various scandals, she has continued to support Amari, even celebrating his 18th birthday in California last July.
Glances of that birthday celebration were featured in a recent episode of “The Kardashians.”
During the emotional episode, there was a moment when Amari experienced a seizure, which he has dealt with in the past. Khloe reflected on the experience, saying, “I’m glad I was here. I’m happy I was here for Amari. I’m happy I was here for Khloe.” Kris also complimented Khloe for how brave she has been throughout it all.
