Super Bowl 60 is set to take place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
The event will air on NBC, starting before the game at 6:30 p.m. ET. Green Day is set to celebrate the Super Bowl’s 60th anniversary by performing a selection of their well-known tracks, along with inviting various past MVPs onto the field.
In addition to that, Brandi Carlile will sing “America the Beautiful,” and Coco Jones will perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing” during the pregame festivities.
Charlie Puth will take the stage to perform the national anthem shortly before the matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots. The current over/under for his anthem performance is 119.5 seconds, according to FanDuel. To give an idea of the last two anthems at the Super Bowl, Jon Batiste held his performance for about 120 seconds, while Reba McIntyre’s lasted around 95 seconds.
If you’re wondering how to catch Puth’s performance, here’s what you need to know.
Who sings the Super Bowl national anthem?
This year, the national anthem will be performed by singer-songwriter Charlie Puth.
Puth, who gained fame as a former YouTube star and made appearances on the Ellen DeGeneres Show back in 2011 and 2012, co-wrote hits like “Celebrate” from Pitbull and “See You Again” from Wiz Khalifa before releasing his debut studio album, Nine Track Minds.
What time does the national anthem begin?
Puth’s rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” is set to occur right before kickoff at 6:30 p.m. ET.
How to watch the National Anthem/Super Bowl:
If you have cable, you can catch the Super Bowl live on NBC or through the NBC website.
As an alternative, the 2026 Super Bowl can be streamed live on Peacock Premium for $10.99 a month or $109.99 a year (the even costlier Peacock Premium Plus is available for $16.99 monthly or $169.99 yearly).
However, note that the cheapest $7.99/month “Select” plan on Peacock won’t be carrying the Super Bowl.
Additionally, you might consider bundling Peacock with Apple TV, starting at $14.99 or $19.99 a month, or even tacking it onto your Prime Video account for another $16.99 monthly (if going for Premium Plus).
Can I watch the Super Bowl on YouTube TV or Hulu + Live TV?
Absolutely! If you subscribe to Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, or even use NFL+ and Sling TV (available in select markets), you can stream the game. New subscribers for YouTube TV, DIRECTV, and Hulu + Live TV have the option for free trials.
