Kid Rock embraces new celebrities supporting Trump: ‘Welcome to the party’

Kid Rock got the party going at President-elect Trump's MAGA victory rally Sunday afternoon by playing “Sweet Home Alabama” to kickstart his set at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.

This was followed by a performance of 2022's iconic song “We the People,” which includes lyrics such as “We all bleed red, brothers, listen up/It's time for love and unity.” The rocker then left the stage as fans chanted “USA!” . ”

Ahead of her performance, the singer stopped by “Fox & Friends Weekend” to talk about the palpable energy shift she's felt in the nation's capital and Hollywood.

“This feels like the rebirth of our country,” the musician, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, told hosts Lawrence Jones, Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhart and Brian Kilmeade. “It was like that at the UFC fight after the election, everybody walking to the ring together,” he said of the championship fight, which included Rocker as well as Trump supporters like Elon Musk and Dana White.
