Exciting Baby News for Kieran Culkin and Jazz Charton
Kieran Culkin and his wife, Jazz Charton, seem to have shared that they are expecting their third child during the opening night of “Waiting for Godot” in New York on Sunday.
The 42-year-old actor, known for his role in “Inheritance,” was seen gently resting his hands on his wife’s pregnant belly while they posed for a photograph.
The couple, who married in June 2013, already have two children: six-year-old Kinsey Sue and four-year-old Wilder Wolf.
This delightful news about their growing family comes on the heels of Charton’s earlier comments—where she joked that if Culkin were to win an Oscar, she would be inclined to have more children.
In his acceptance speech for Best Supporting Actor for “A Real Pain,” Culkin didn’t hold back. He affectionately remarked, “Let’s crack those kids, what do you say? I love you,” directed at his wife.
He went on to express his admiration for her, saying, “I have to absolutely appreciate my wife’s jazz for everything and for giving me the people I like in the world.”
Reflecting on a past Emmy speech, Culkin recalled Jazz’s lighthearted promise that if he won, she would have a child with him. “She didn’t think I was going to win,” he noted, chuckling.
He admitted this public declaration back then had “really annoyed” Charton. However, it didn’t deter him from expressing his family aspirations afterward. “I want four,” he mentioned while they were walking to their car after the show.
Jazz reportedly responded, “When you win the Oscar, I’ll give you four,” which made quite an impression on Culkin.
He humorously encouraged the audience by saying, “You remember that, honey? Do you do that?” as he recounted the interaction. He emphasized his love for her, reassuring, “I love you, jazz. There’s no pressure. Sorry for bringing it up again… but let’s have those kids.”
Culkin had notably requested his wife to consider expanding their family after winning his Emmy. He expressed gratitude for the life they share and the children they already have.
Reflecting on their meeting in a New York bar back in 2012, Culkin recalled their charming introduction, saying, “I said, ‘I’m Kieran. You have an English accent. What’s your name?’ She replied, ‘I’m Jazz,’ and that led to a playful conversation about her name.”
