Kim Kardashian features in an ad for a supplement inspired by breast milk

Kourtney Kardashian has introduced a new supplement, drawing inspiration from… well, breast milk, sort of. Her latest venture features gummies and liquid colostrum intended to boost beauty and gut health.

This time, she’s got her sister Kim on board for a promotional campaign, where Kim takes on the role of a lawyer who feels wronged for not being informed about the product until its launch.

REM Colostrum Gummies, priced at $30, are formulated with colostrum and vitamin D3, while the REM Colostrum Liquid, available for $25, is a sugar-free liposomal creamer that includes colostrum, lactoferrin (a protein from breast milk), immunoglobulins, MCT oil, and vitamin E.

Both products are set to hit the brand’s website on November 6th (Thursday).

“I’ve been using colostrum for years because it’s great for gut and immune health, but I wanted to simplify it for everyone,” Kourtney explained.

She went on to note that some people prefer the ease of gummy vitamins, while others like to incorporate them into drinks like matcha or coffee, hence the creation of both options.

Interestingly, in her new promotional video, Kourtney seems to be supporting Kim, despite Kim still waiting to hear back about her bar exam results. In the ad, Kim confronts Kourtney for allegedly withholding her beauty and gut health secrets.

“In this family, we share everything,” Kim declares to the judge. “NDA, Gram Team, group chats, and yes, supplements. I waited a long time to find out she was doing REM colostrum research.”

In a cheeky response, Kourtney told the audience, “What the prosecutors say may or may not be true. But if you’re truly passionate about your business, maybe you know what it takes. Jealousy is not grounds for a lawsuit.”

Interestingly, Kim is the second family member to join Kourtney in promoting her REM Sleep initiative. Khloe was involved in the REM Sleep campaign back in 2022.

What is colostrum?

Colostrum, often referred to as “liquid gold,” is the initial milk produced by mammals after giving birth. It’s packed with nutrients, antibodies, and antioxidants that support a newborn’s immune system. Experts believe it could also be beneficial for adults.

Dr. Kathleen Valenton, who serves on the Lemme Medical Advisory Board, shared insights on colostrum’s advantages for gut health: “It promotes a balanced gut microbiome and supports overall immune function, which is crucial for digestion and reducing bloating,” she mentioned.

Moreover, the benefits extend beyond gut health. “Colostrum helps maintain intestinal health and provides nutrients that can enhance beauty from within. A balanced gut often reflects positively on skin health,” Valenton added.

In a saturated supplement market, Valenton highlighted what sets REM apart: “Not all colostrum is equal. The key is not just using a common dairy extract but isolating specific bioactive proteins that are particularly beneficial for human health.” She emphasized that both the liquid and gummy options are effective, allowing consumers to choose based on personal preference.

Recently, Kourtney also launched Lemme Purr Probiotic Lollipops, which focus on vaginal health. “They are a fun addition to one of our best sellers, making daily self-care a sweet and simple routine,” she said in a statement.
