Kim Kardashian Opens Up About Brain Health Issues
Kim Kardashian has recently discussed her concerns regarding brain health. After being informed of a potential aneurysm, the 45-year-old reality star decided to get a brain scan. The results revealed an unexpected “hole” in her brain.
This moment was featured in a recent episode of the family’s reality series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Accompanied by Scott Disick, Kardashian visited a doctor to find out more about her brain health. They went through scans and later met with psychiatrist Dr. Daniel Amen to go over the findings.
Dr. Amen began the consultation by noting that Kim had a “beautiful brain,” assuring her that it wasn’t at risk for Alzheimer’s disease. He commented on her positive mindset, suggesting that it likely helps her avoid stress and anxiety.
However, when showing her a different view of the scan, Kim couldn’t help but notice the “hole.” Dr. Amen acknowledged her concern, explaining that this hole indicated underactivity in the frontal lobe, which could complicate stress management—especially while studying.
At the time, Kardashian was preparing for the California bar exam, although she later shared that she hadn’t passed. On camera, she expressed disbelief, saying, “That can’t be happening. It can’t be possible. It’s not acceptable.” Dr. Amen suggested that chronic stress from intense studying could be contributing to her brain’s condition, emphasizing the need for improvement.
Kardashian took the bar exam in July and shared her results earlier this month. In her announcement, she humorously remarked, “Well…I’m not a lawyer yet. I just play a well-dressed lawyer on TV.” She reflected on her six-year journey to pursue a legal career, expressing ongoing commitment to passing the bar exam, despite setbacks. “There are no shortcuts and no giving up,” she stated, encouraging herself with the thought of needing more study and determination.
She also expressed gratitude towards her supporters, stating, “Failure is not a failure. It’s energy. I was so close to passing the exam, it gave me even more motivation. Let’s go!”
Kardashian embarked on her legal career in 2018 through a California law firm study program, which allows aspiring lawyers to gain hands-on experience instead of attending traditional law school. Despite facing challenges along the way, her dedication remains evident as she strives toward her goal.
