Kim Kardashian, 45, is dedicated to looking youthful and healthy. In a recent chat on Amy Poehler’s podcast, “Smile,” she gave some insights into her lifestyle.
Kardashian, who takes about 35 supplements daily, detailed her health habits, which she considers essential. The reality star has also emphasized the importance of annual health scans, which she participates in with her family. Poehler, who is a mother of four, shared her own experience and mentioned the value of these yearly traditions.
During the discussion, Kardashian asked Poehler if she’s ever had a DEXA scan. “I know someone who does portable DEXA scanning,” she explained, detailing how her family utilizes this service. DEXA scans use low-frequency X-rays to assess bone density and overall body composition.
“We all jump in the van, and after about three minutes, it scans your body,” she noted, making it sound sort of fun—at least, in a way that families might find it bonding. She also pointed out how these checkups help her family learn new health tips.
Kardashian mentioned her daily supplement routine in detail, saying, “I… have pill fatigue.” She talked about her struggle with taking fish oil, describing it as especially tough. However, she indicated she’s keen on finding simpler and more effective ways to maintain her health, perhaps looking into options like IV treatments.
Poehler chimed in, noting the unpleasant aftertaste of fish oil, which many can relate to. Kardashian acknowledged that she finds the large pills challenging, which makes the idea of mobile health services seem attractive.
While some aspects of Kardashian’s routine might sound extravagant, they do reveal a candid perspective on health maintenance and the lengths some will go to pursue it. It’s all about finding what works best for oneself, I suppose.
