Kardashian Discusses Health Scare
Kim Kardashian recently shared a significant health concern during a preview for the upcoming Season 7 of Hulu’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians. The 45-year-old Skims founder revealed that a brain aneurysm was discovered during an MRI scan.
The preview captures Kim as she undergoes the MRI, followed by a conversation with her family about the “small aneurysm” she learned about. She mentioned that the doctors attributed it largely to stress.
According to the Mayo Clinic, a cerebral aneurysm refers to a bulging section of a brain blood vessel. If it were to leak or rupture, it could lead to bleeding in the brain, which is recognized as a hemorrhagic stroke. Interestingly, while brain aneurysms can be common, most, particularly those that are small, are typically not serious and rarely rupture.
Feeling emotional, Kim also touched on her divorce from Kanye West, stating, “People think it’s a luxury I can just walk away from. I’m glad it’s over. My ex will be in my life no matter what. We have four children.”
Kardashian and West’s marriage, which began in 2014, concluded with their divorce in 2022. Interestingly, in 2021, Khloe Kardashian disclosed that Kim was facing challenges in her marriage to the rapper. There seemed to be a lot happening behind the scenes; Kim was visibly grappling with her feelings and relationships.
In a past episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Khloe remarked, “Kim is privately struggling with her relationships behind the camera… sometimes you bring things into situations that have nothing to do with what you’re experiencing.” She further expressed her admiration for Kim, highlighting her incredible nature and the burdens she feels in trying to maintain their marriage.
Season 7 of Keeping Up with the Kardashians debuted on Hulu on October 23rd.
