Kim Kardashian Discusses Health Concerns Amid Bar Exam Stress

Kim Kardashian recently shared that the intense pressure of preparing for the bar exam was exacerbated by the discovery of a brain aneurysm. On a recent episode of Hulu’s “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” she opened up about her health worries after undergoing a full body scan.

“They called and said, ‘Everything looks fine, but you have an aneurysm in your brain,'” she mentioned to her sister Kourtney. The doctors indicated it had been there for years.

Kim, who is 45, promptly reached out to neurosurgeon Dr. Keith Black for further evaluation. “I sent him a photo of the scan, and he said he wanted me to come in for more imaging tests,” she explained. “I wondered, ‘Can we wait? What’s going to explode?’ And they reassured me, ‘It’s just stress.’

She admitted that the demands of her law studies were taking a toll. “I’m preparing for the bar exam, studying around ten hours a day. The stress has reached a whole new level.” She even mentioned experiencing hives due to it.

The news about Kim’s aneurysm came to light when a teaser for the seventh season of the reality show aired in October. In that preview, she was seen confiding in Kourtney about the frightening medical diagnosis, which visibly shocked her sister.

Last month, Kim appeared on “Good Morning America” to promote her new series “All’s Fair” and to provide an update on her health. She noted that she had to visit Cedars-Sinai Hospital for additional brain scans with the medical team, but that everything was proceeding well.

“Health is an asset, and it’s important to be cautious in everything you do,” she said. Recently, she shared an Instagram video detailing her rigorous preparation for the bar exam, even though she ultimately did not pass.

In that video, Kim reflected on her journey, mentioning, “On November 7, I found out I hadn’t cleared the hurdle. It was disappointing but not the end.” She emphasized that this dream is too significant for her to give up, stating she will continue studying and learning until she achieves her goal.

Kim plans to retake the California bar exam in February 2026.
