Kim Porter’s close friend, Ebony Electra, chose not to address the legal complications surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs.
On Wednesday, she took to Instagram to break her silence following the rapper’s mixed verdict, which was revealed recently.
Combs was found guilty on two counts related to transportation for engaging in prostitution but was acquitted of more serious charges like sex trafficking and assault.
“Praise God❤❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” Electra wrote, along with a close-up image of Combs. “🙏🏿 opinions… We all have them.”
She added, “🙏🏿🙏🏿 The will of God surpasses opinions, mistakes, judgment, or gossip. If this is God’s plan for Puff/Didi, then so be it. Ultimately, our thoughts don’t hold a candle to his will.”
Electra went on, “Who are we to judge? That’s God’s responsibility. It’s all in his hands. We may never fully know.”
Tameka “Tiny” Harris, wife of rapper T.I., defended Electra in the comments, calling her “freakish.”
However, many social media users have torn into Electra’s comment, labeling her a “clown.”
One user remarked, “Poor Kim probably realizes she doesn’t have true friends,” while another observed, “She hasn’t spoken out about this before.”
A third pointed out that Cassie, Combs’ on-again, off-again girlfriend, testified during a six-week trial regarding alleged rape and physical abuse. It’s likely she saw Electra’s “sick” post.
Cassie dated Combs from 2007 to 2018.
Porter had a relationship with Combs from 1994 to 2007, and together they had four children: Christian “King” (34), twins D’Lila and Jessie (18), and a daughter, Chance (18).
Combs is also the father of Justin (31) and Love (2).
Porter, who passed away in November 2018 at 47, supported Combs during his legal issues.
Five years later, Cassie initiated a legal battle against Combs, claiming misconduct stemming from a controversial 2016 video.
“I never thought he could stoop that low,” said Jake Porter last year, sharing that it altered his perspective.
Combs made headlines in September 2024 when he faced legal troubles after a highly publicized incident at his home.
Combs could potentially serve a 20-year sentence.
He was denied bail because he “disregarded the law and exhibited violent tendencies.”
A verdict for Combs is set for October 3rd.
