“Dactylitis is a sausage-like swelling of the fingers, usually found in the toes, and is associated with ankylosing spondylitis,” says Niranjana Bose, a board-certified rheumatologist at Lone Star Rheumatology in Houston, Texas. the doctor told FOX News Digital.
Bose said the appearance of Charles' hands may be his “baseline” and does not indicate an underlying disease.
