Actor and self-professed Christian Kirk Cameron has announced that he will be celebrating the birth of his first grandchild to coincide with the publication of his latest book.
“Having children is an amazing experience, and then having grandchildren is definitely another level. I've always been told that, and now I'm experiencing it,” Cameron, 53, said of her newborn granddaughter.
He has a new book for adults called ” Born Braveurged Americans to return the country to biblical principles as it once was, and said such books would be published as well.
“What I want most is to write more books like this one, and to do that I need to get on the New York Times bestseller list,” Cameron said. Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show.
This book is How to join America's spiritual revivalteaches readers how to shine a light of courage and bravery in the midst of cultural darkness. He hopes the book will be a financial success and have an impact on the publishing industry.
“I wish my friends, who are better writers, would write more books like this,” he said.
Cameron, a father of six children – two of whom he adopted with his wife – noted the path he took from Hollywood fame to his “Growing Pains” co-star Chelsea Cameron, to his children and now grandchildren is rare.
“I didn't have the chance to live like so many teenage actors who died young from drug addiction, and I'm really grateful for that,” Cameron said.
The actor, who has written several children's books, asserted that today is the most exciting time in the last 100 years as darkness can be defeated with light through ordinary means such as reading wholesome books to children aged between three and five years old.
“As we read books about virtue and character to children in public libraries, against the backdrop of drag queen story times, political corruption, economic collapse and moral filth, we see thousands of parents, grandparents and children igniting the torches of freedom and virtue,” said Cameron.
