In one of the best Thursday night games in recent memory, Atlanta defeated the Bucks 36-30 in overtime. Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins had an incredible performance, recording 42 hits (!) and 509 yards (!!) in 58 games. 4 A touchdown, including a walk-off in OT.
The Falcons marched down the field on their final drive in regulation to get within field goal range for Younghoe Koo. They then received a delay of game penalty because they were the Falcons. In overtime, Cousins found KaDarrell Hodge and completed a short pass to the house for the winning score 45 yards.
Atlanta fans were excited. Cousins responded with the only logical thing for a 36-year-old idiot like himself. He tried his best to dance to “Swag Surfing.”
