Kirk Herbstreit’s Secret to Having Boys Revealed
Kirk Herbstreit seems to know a thing or two about having boys. He and his wife, Alison Butler, who was a gymnast, have had four children, and all of them are boys. It’s an interesting approach, and perhaps worth considering for the dads of daughters who want one last shot at a son.
But let’s pause for a moment. Was it really the headstands that led to this outcome, or is it just a coincidence? The thought of women doing headstands in bed to influence their baby’s gender is kind of amusing. Wouldn’t that be a lively scene?
I, for one, think that sounds like a fun narrative. And I can’t help but wonder if Herbstreit feels the same way. During a recent talk on the podcast Bussin’ With the Boys, he shared how they’ve approached the whole “having boys” situation.
When asked about his secret, Herbstreit pointed out that his wife had done some research about it. Apparently, they were keen on not having girls, as they followed this particular method for each of their children. And, well, it worked every time.
Initially, he mentioned his wife being a gymnast, adding an interesting twist to their story. After their, let’s say, intimate moments, his wife would try doing a handstand to tilt the odds. “She heard that male sperm were faster,” Herbstreit explained, and, clearly, it’s become a tradition for them.
While he wasn’t quite sure about how long these headstands should last, it seemed that the hosts were totally convinced that Herbstreit might have just found the secret to having boys. It’s a fascinating conversation, one that sparks curiosity and maybe a bit of laughter at the thought.
