Possibly the cutest kitten in the world was found lost in Massachusetts wearing a strawberry-print dress. Local animal control is asking for the public’s help in reuniting the kitten with its family.
The cat, a black and white long-haired cat with large eyes and a heart-shaped nose, was found by a good Samaritan on Monday in a driveway near a school in Everett, north of Boston.
Hearts melted when a cat found at the Everett Animal Control Center was rescued wearing a white pleated dress with a strawberry pattern and a red ribbon.
“This kitten is very affectionate and the family will definitely miss her,” Everett Animal Control said in a Facebook post.
“She loves lying in bed.” [animal control officer’s] Get down on your knees and hold your hand with your front paws until you can hold him. ”
Until the real owner was found, police officers called the kitten “Strawberry” after the name the kitten was given by the person who found it.
Unsurprisingly, strawberries were popular in the comments section.
“She’s amazing. I love her dress,” said one commenter.

“Oh, someone must be missing her,” said another.
“I hope your people find you, Strawberry.”
“If no one else will take her, I will take her,” said another on behalf of the world.
Anyone with information about Mr. Strawberry’s home is asked to contact Everett Police at 617-387-1212 or email stacia.gorgone@cityofeverett.org.
