Karine Jean-Pierre’s Career Moves After Leaving the White House

Former White House press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, is reportedly exploring her next steps. According to sources, she had aspirations to co-host “The View,” but that opportunity didn’t materialize.

After stepping down, Jean-Pierre announced her departure from the Democratic Party. Having previously served in President Biden’s administration, she indicated that her exit was influenced by his actions, specifically mentioning a sense of “betrayal” related to his call for her to withdraw from the upcoming election race.

She recently made a trip to New York, where she appeared on “The View” and engaged in promotional activities for her forthcoming book titled “Independence: The Inner Look of the Broken White House,” set to be released in October. In a video she shared, Jean-Pierre suggested that Americans ought to move away from narrow thinking and embrace a more bipartisan approach.

Throughout her time as press secretary, Jean-Pierre made multiple appearances on “The View,” where she defended Biden’s mental fitness and faced criticism regarding her statements on Republican Senator Lindsey Graham’s abortion proposals. She became particularly emotional when discussing Biden dropping out of the 2024 race.

Jean-Pierre has also made it clear that Biden would not absolve his son, Hunter, of felony charges related to firearms and taxes, despite discussions surrounding potential forgiveness.

Media analysts indicate that, even though Jean-Pierre is currently without a job, she is likely to find a role as an on-air contributor soon. The executive producers for “The View” have yet to comment on her potential involvement with the show.
