KKK Grand Wizard David Duke sides with anti-Israel protesters

Former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke said he stood with anti-Israel protesters and those who would “save us from Jewish supremacy.” Social media users blasted pro-Palestinian activists for finding common ground with hate groups.

Duke, a self-described white supremacist and former grand wizard of the Knights of the KKK, made his hateful comments during a protest in Detroit on Friday following the abrupt cancellation of the right-wing America First Political Action Conference (AFPAC), led by white supremacist Nicholas Fuentes.

“I support Nick and all that he does … and all those who are working to save our country and save us from Jewish supremacy. We are being genocided just like the Palestinians,” Duke said. Say it in the video Political commentator and undercover journalist Cam Higbee shared on X.

In the video, when asked if he was friends with Fuentes, Duke responded, “I consider him a comrade fighting for our people.”

A video of Duke’s comments shared on X quickly went viral, with many commenting that anti-Israel activists should be concerned that they appear to have found common ground with the KKK.

“If David Duke is on your side, you know you’re on the wrong side,” the National Jewish Congress (NJA) commented under the video.

“This is a sympathizer of the campus protesters,” one person commented, while another quipped, “If a former KKK grand wizard agrees with you, that means you’re on the right side of history.”

“An alliance made in hell,” commented another X user.

Duke’s comments came after AFPAC was suddenly canceled as the group was preparing to take the stage on Friday.

Officials at the Russell Industrial Center, where the event is scheduled to be held, He told the Detroit Free Press. The venue felt it had been deceived by the group, who had hired a third-party company to book the centre, and would never have accepted such an event if they had known what they were promoting.

“The event was canceled due to the production company knowingly misrepresenting the nature of the event for their client and concerns for the safety of the facility, employees, tenants and the surrounding community,” a spokesperson for Russell Industrial Centre told the paper.

“The amount of hate mail we have received and the nasty words said about us by AFPAC supporters is disturbing and only confirms that our decision was correct.”
