Then, like that, he was gone. The elite Geneva-based educational institution has confirmed that Klaus Schwab, founder of the Globalist World Economic Forum (WEF), has exempted him from his position as chairman of the board.
AFP reported to the WEF board of directors, “When Schwab enters his 88th year, he decided to resign immediately and effectively from his position as a member of the board, from his position as chairman.”
His departure means that he is no longer on hand to meet people who are personally wealthy, privileged and well-known.
WEF said Vice-Chair Peter Braebeck Letomate was appointed interim chairman of the board and an alternative search committee was appointed, according to AFP.
WEF’s board of directors welcomed what Schwab calls “superficial achievements” over 55 years as leaders of the organization.
“As the world is changing rapidly, the need for comprehensive dialogue to navigate complexity and shape the future has become more important than ever,” he said in the statement.
“Based on a trustworthy role, the forum will continue to bring together leaders from all sectors and regions to exchange insights and promote collaboration.”
As Breitbart News previously reported, the globalist now focuses on writing his memoirs.

Schwab was born on March 30, 1938 in Ravensburg, Germany. He studied at the University of Switzerland and Harvard University in the United States, earning his PhD in Engineering and Economics along with over 12 honorary doctorates.
He was a little-known business professor at the University of Geneva when he founded the predecessor of WEF, a European management forum in 1971.
