Aaron Rodgers is still feeling the effects of the blow he took Sunday.
Rodgers, who was sacked five times during the Jets' 10-9 loss to the Broncos at MetLife Stadium, slowly got up several times late in the game.
“I'm kind of excited,” Rodgers said Tuesday on his weekly appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show.” “I've had some shots. My knee is a little swollen, just a little wasted, week four.”
On Monday, head coach Robert Saleh predicted Rodgers wouldn't even appear on this week's injury report. However, it is important to note that the Jets will need to fly to London for their game against the Vikings in Week 5.
Long flights are not the best for swollen knees.
“From what I can gather, this is just typical wear and tear from being beaten up a little bit yesterday,” Saleh said.

Rodgers wasn't at his best in Sunday's loss, completing 24 of 42 passes for 225 yards but no touchdowns or interceptions.
“I hope we all have some perspective here,” Rodgers said Tuesday. “That seemed like an unusual game. Obviously, Denver has a really solid defense. The weather, their defense, and our lack of execution made for a very bad combination that led to just nine points.” It stayed on point.”
